A temporary commission of Azerbaijan's Milli Majlis against external interference and hybrid threats has issued a statement on hybrid attacks against Azerbaijan. The statement says the country's emergence as a middle-level power under President Ilham Aliyev, its assertive foreign policy, growing international authority, contribution to international energy security, strategic importance in regional transit corridors, and domestic political and economic stability have significantly increased the scale of hybrid attacks by external actors.
Aizada Subakozhoeva has been appointed Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to China, succeeding Aktilek Musaeva. The report, datelined Bishkek, October 16, 2026, was carried by Kabar news agency.
Taliya Minullina, head of the organizing committee of the second Russian-Indian TIME forum and head of Tatarstan's Investment Development Agency, called India the “pharmacy of the world.” She said India ranks first globally in generic drug production, supplies 20% of world generics and about 50% of all vaccines. Minullina named pharmaceuticals as one of the promising areas of cooperation between Tatarstan and India.
Kazakhstan has increased production of grain, oilseeds and potatoes, according to the Khabar 24 news outlet. Data from the Bureau of National Statistics show that the 2025 harvest of cereals and pulses, excluding rice, exceeded 25.4 million tonnes. This is nearly 730,000 tonnes more than a year earlier.
Kabar reported on 16.10.26 that a project to build a 10 MW solar power plant in Aravan district of Kyrgyzstan's Osh region was discussed. Citing the presidential representative office in Osh region, the report said regional head Amankan Kenzhebaev held a working meeting to advance the project.

Yahya Coşkun, deputy president of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA), made a work and introductory visit to Moldova and Gagauzia from 10 to 13 October.
