Second stage of Open Cabinet: Zone of Responsibility project begins

The second stage of the "Open Cabinet: Zone of Responsibility" project is starting in Kyrgyzstan, according to the Cabinet of Ministers, the Kabar news agency reported from Bishkek on 22 October 2026.

The project aims to increase the openness and transparency of state bodies, strengthen interaction with the public, and ensure that citizens can obtain information about the work of state institutions. Heads of state services, agencies, funds and public organisations will take part.

The project includes an open dialogue between media representatives and heads of state structures. Discussions will cover the main areas of their work, ongoing reforms, and plans and priority goals for the coming period. The second stage continues efforts to build an open, accountable system of state administration and to strengthen public trust in state institutions.
