President Sadyr Japarov: China–Kyrgyzstan–Uzbekistan railway construction is moving fast

Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov said construction of the China–Kyrgyzstan–Uzbekistan railway is progressing intensively. He made the remarks on 27 October 2026 during a meeting with residents of Toguz-Toro district.

According to the head of state, if the project is implemented, Toguz-Toro district will become a major logistics hub. The railway is a joint project involving China, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, as its name indicates.

Japarov also said Kyrgyzstan has entered a path of development and that a new era has begun in the country.
