Kazakhstan master's and doctoral applications open 28 October; deadline 10 November

Kazakhstan will accept applications for comprehensive testing for master's programmes and entrance exams for doctoral studies from 28 October until 10 November 2026 inclusive, via the National Testing Center website app.testcenter.kz. The Ministry of Science and Higher Education said the testing will take place in November and December. Applicants can change their test city, test language and programme group until 10 November.

Research-oriented master's programmes require a foreign language test, a readiness test and two profile subjects, with a passing score of 75 points, including at least 25 in the foreign language. Profile master's programmes require at least 30 points. Creative programmes accept documents directly at universities until 10 November.

Doctoral applicants first submit documents to a university admissions committee, then register online for the exam. KAZTEST and foreign language certificates are required. The entrance exam is set for 26 November, and the exam itself will be held in December. Once applications close, the programme group and test city cannot be changed.
