Azerbaijan proposes raising minimum alimony to 274 manat in 2027

Azerbaijan is proposing to raise the minimum alimony payment from 260 manat to 274 manat, with the change starting January 1, 2027. Modern.az reports that the change is included in a draft law on the subsistence minimum for Azerbaijan in 2027.

Under the draft, the subsistence minimum for children next year will be set at 274 manat. The indicator currently stands at 260 manat.

The change is at the proposal stage as part of the draft law, and the report does not say when the law will be adopted.
