Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov receives Calik Holding chairman Ahmet Calik

Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Ahmet Calik, chairman of the board of directors of the Calik Holding group, during a working visit to Türkiye. Calik thanked the president for the meeting, stressed the historic significance of his visit to Türkiye, and said Turkmenistan's major achievements in all areas are highly valued in Türkiye.

Berdimuhamedov was congratulated on being awarded an honorary doctorate in international relations by Hacettepe University and the Strategic Friendship Award by the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Türkiye. Calik also asked the president to convey his warm greetings and best wishes to Arkadag.

Berdimuhamedov thanked Calik for his kind words and noted the steady strengthening of Turkmen-Turkish friendship and successful cooperation in several areas. He said Turkmenistan's foreign economic relations are guided by equality, mutual understanding and mutual respect. Calik pledged that his company would approach its contractual obligations with even greater responsibility and thanked the president for the conditions that allow Turkish companies to operate effectively in Turkmenistan. At the close of the meeting, the president wished Calik great success in his work.
