Mirziyoyev Congratulates Aliyev on Azerbaijan's Victory Day

Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has congratulated Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on Azerbaijan's Victory Day, according to Report.az. In a letter to Aliyev, Mirziyoyev extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to him and to the entire people of Azerbaijan on the country's national holiday.

The letter links the historic achievements of six years ago, including the restoration of historical justice and the country's territorial integrity, to Aliyev's wise and consistent policy and leadership. It also praises the heroism and fortitude of the Azerbaijani people and says the holiday will contribute to the country's progress along the path of peace, stability and development.

Mirziyoyev noted a series of important meetings, fruitful negotiations and key agreements reached this year in Baku, Tashkent and Bukhara, which he said opened a new chapter in bilateral relations. He highlighted the signing of the Treaty on Eternal Friendship as a step toward elevating the strategic partnership and alliance to a qualitatively new level, and expressed confidence in deepening ties.
