Ufa campus set to become a leading hub for science and education

The Ufa inter-university campus of the Eurasian scientific and educational center is positioning itself as a hub for innovation and modern education in Bashkortostan. It brings together study, science and business, invites world-renowned professors, and offers new opportunities for startups and large companies.

State Assembly–Kurultai Chairman Andrei Nazarov leads a working group overseeing the campus construction, he said in a social media post. The group was set up by Republic Head Radiy Khabirov. Glazing on two buildings is complete, internal engineering networks are being laid, and about 1,300 people work on site daily. The surrounding area is due to be completed in October.

Meanwhile, a delegation from the Bashkir State Medical University took part in a Russia-China medical universities meeting and scientific conference in Shanghai. Rector Valentin Pavlov said the university has worked with leading Chinese medical universities for over ten years, including a joint diagnostics center built with Jilin University.
