Minister: Normalization of Armenia-Türkiye relations will benefit region

Türkiye's Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, Ibrahim Yumakli, said that accelerating the normalization process between Armenia and Türkiye will bring significant benefits to the entire region. Report.az reported the remarks, which were published on 16 October 2026.

Speaking to journalists in Yerevan on the sidelines of COP17, the Turkish minister said the process will create substantial benefits for both countries and the region as a whole. His comments were made during the forum.

Yumakli noted that a number of productive meetings were held during the forum, which he said would send positive signals to various countries.
