Asian Development Bank representative received at Turkmenistan's Foreign Ministry

Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov met in Ashgabat with Lea Gutierrez, Director General of the Asian Development Bank's Department for Central and West Asia.

The two sides exchanged views on current issues of Turkmenistan's cooperation with the Asian Development Bank, reviewed the current state of their engagement and considered options for expanding the partnership. Particular attention was paid to promising areas of cooperation, the exchange of experience on regional agenda issues, and possibilities for joint initiatives of mutual interest. The sides also discussed ways to strengthen the partnership in light of current economic trends and new opportunities for broader multilateral cooperation.

At the close of the meeting, both sides confirmed their interest in continuing constructive dialogue and further strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Asian Development Bank.
