Turkey's first floating production platform sent to Black Sea

Turkey's first floating production platform, Osman Gazi, has been sent from Filyos Port, where its infrastructure was built, to its service location in the Black Sea.

Report.az reported that Transport and Infrastructure Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced this on his account on the X social network. He said the project will double natural gas production at the Sakarya gas field, and he congratulated everyone who contributed to the implementation of this important investment.

Uraloğlu also wished that Osman Gazi's journey from Filyos Port to the Blue Homeland be successful and that its services be beneficial to the country and nation. The announcement was made on 17 October 2026.
