Foreign Minister Ertuğruloğlu continues contacts in Baghdad

Foreign Minister Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu is continuing his contacts in Baghdad, the Iraqi capital, on the occasion of the 52nd Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). According to the Foreign Ministry, Ertuğruloğlu attended an official dinner held last night by Iraqi Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi for the heads of member and observer state delegations.

At the dinner, Ertuğruloğlu met representatives and counterparts from other countries and exchanged views. As part of the meeting, he also held bilateral talks, including a brief meeting with OIC Secretary General İsmail Ould Cheikh Ahmed. He had held extensive talks with the Secretary General in New York last month, during the work of the UN General Assembly. Recent developments were discussed at the latest meeting.

Contacts and sessions within the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers meeting are set to continue today.
