Kyrgyz military practices peacekeeping tasks at CSTO exercises in Belarus

Kyrgyz troops have begun tactical training focused on operations within the CSTO collective peacekeeping forces during the "Indestructible Brotherhood-2026" exercise at the Losvido training ground in Belarus, as reported by Kabar from Bishkek on October 14, 2026. The military contingent is practising the preparation and execution of a peacekeeping operation.

According to the Ministry of Defense of the Kyrgyz Republic, troop contingents from CSTO member states Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Russia and Tajikistan are taking part in the exercises. Participants include military contingents, units from internal affairs agencies (police) and national guard forces, as well as operational groups from the CSTO Joint Staff and Secretariat.
