Kyrgyzstan to build kindergarten, sports complex and culture house in every village by 2029

Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov said that in 2028–2029 every village in Kyrgyzstan will have its own kindergarten, sports complex and house of culture. He made the statement during a meeting with residents of the Bazar-Korgon district in the Jalal-Abad region.

Japarov also addressed the issue of educational institutions in emergency condition. He noted that 111 schools built in the 1950s and 1960s remain, which the Ministry of Emergency Situations has concluded are dangerous for children's education.

Japarov said: "In 2027 we will devote all our strength to fully completing the construction of these schools." The report was published by the Kabar news agency in Bishkek on 23 October 2026.
