January–August: Turkmenistan-Kazakhstan trade turnover tops $361 million

Trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan amounted to $361,363.8 thousand in January–August 2026, according to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan. The total exceeded $361 million over the eight-month period.

Kazakhstan's exports to Turkmenistan totalled $232,981 thousand during the reporting period, while imports of Turkmen products reached $128,382.8 thousand. Together, the two flows make up the full turnover reported for the period.

Trade between the two countries grew by 9.3% compared with the same period of the previous year, when turnover stood at $330,580.1 thousand for the eight months of 2025. Official statistics also show that bilateral trade for the whole of 2025 totalled $515,534.8 thousand.
