North Macedonian President Siljanovska-Davkova holds phone call with Ilham Aliyev

North Macedonian President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova held a phone call with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev last week, at her own request. The two leaders reaffirmed their determination to advance friendly relations between North Macedonia and Azerbaijan by deepening political dialogue and developing cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

The call took place during a global energy crisis. The presidents exchanged views on the growing problems and possible ways to address them.

The conversation built on ties strengthened during Siljanovska-Davkova's official visit to Baku. Siljanovska-Davkova and Aliyev agreed to continue and expand cooperation in the energy sector.
