Direct Dubai–Skopje flights to start in March

Three direct flights a week between Dubai and Skopje will operate from March of next year. The new route was confirmed during a meeting held on a working visit by Foreign and Trade Minister Timčo Mucunski to the United Arab Emirates.

According to a statement from the Foreign Ministry, Mucunski met Hamad Obaidalla, Head of Commercial Affairs at Flydubai. The meeting covered information on launching direct Dubai–Skopje flights. The route is expected to strengthen air transport between North Macedonia and the UAE and expand travel options for citizens, businesspeople and tourists.

The talks also covered developing economic and trade ties, attracting foreign investment and expanding cooperation in tourism and culture. Mucunski described the direct flights as a concrete result of active economic diplomacy and efforts to strengthen the country's international connections.
