Tatarstan residents hit with 13.3 billion rubles in 2025 property tax bills

Tatarstan residents have been sent almost 2.2 million property tax notices for 2025, totalling 13.3 billion rubles. The amount is 23% higher than a year earlier.

The figures were announced at a briefing in the House of Government of the Republic of Tatarstan by Marat Safiullin, head of the regional office of the Federal Tax Service. He said residents have already paid 5.3 billion rubles of this sum.

Safiullin said citizens' activity is growing. Last year, 99.1% was collected, and in 2024, 101% was collected when arrears were included. He said taxpayer discipline is improving and reminded residents that taxes must be paid no later than 1 December.
