Tatarstan ranks fourth in Russia for tax and non-tax revenue

Tatarstan's consolidated budget received 487 billion rubles in tax and non-tax revenue from January to September. Of this, 409 billion rubles went to the republic's budget and 78 billion rubles to local budgets. Finance Minister Marat Faizrakhmanov announced the figures at a republican meeting of financial, treasury and tax authorities.

Kazan medics win million-ruble grants to study inflammation and omega-3 effects

According to the press service of Kazan State Medical University (KSMU), two research teams from the university are among the winners of a grant competition run by the Russian Science Foundation (RSF). The foundation's expert council approved funding for basic research by medics from the capital of Tatarstan for 2027–2028, of up to 2 million rubles per year for each project.
