Saida Mirziyoyeva Meets Turkish Presidential Secretariat Head and Chief Secretary

Saida Mirziyoyeva, head of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan, met Hasan Doğan, head of the Presidential Secretariat of Turkey, and Hakkı Susmaz, Chief Secretary of the Presidential Administration. The sides noted the shared history, language, culture and traditions of Uzbekistan and Turkey, and said relations are developing consistently on this solid foundation.

During the talks, the sides discussed the next practical steps to expand cooperation and agreed to continue implementing new initiatives that are mutually beneficial.

Earlier, Mirziyoyeva visited Khaldun University and the Yenidoğan school in Istanbul during her trip to Turkey. She also visited the Baykar company complex, where she became familiar with advanced projects in the defence industry. Mirziyoyeva later met Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and they discussed the results of joint efforts and prospects for strengthening ties between the two countries.
