Kyrgyzstan's Cabinet holds first meeting of Council on Demographic Policy

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Ulan Mamatkanov chaired the first meeting of the Council on Demographic Policy on October 16, according to the Cabinet's press service.

The meeting discussed the current demographic situation in Kyrgyzstan, the challenges of the country's demographic development, and an action plan for the first stage (2026-2030) of the Concept of Demographic Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic until 2040.

Participants also discussed proposals for implementing priority areas of demographic policy, coordinating the work of responsible state bodies, and adopting specific measures to address identified problems. Following the meeting, a number of instructions were issued, the Cabinet said.
