OGT 2026: over 1,700 delegates from 75 countries to attend Ashgabat energy forum

Registration has closed for the 31st International Conference and Exhibition “Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan – 2026” (OGT 2026), according to Turkmenistan Today. More than 1,700 delegates from 75 countries, representing 450 companies, have confirmed their participation. The forum will take place on 21–23 October in Ashgabat.

The event will bring together heads of state bodies, national and international energy companies, investment and financial institutions, research organisations and leading technology suppliers. Countries whose representatives will attend include China, Malaysia, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, the United States, the United Kingdom, Russia, Germany, France, Italy, South Korea, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.

The business programme will focus on the Galkynyş gas field, modernisation of gas transport infrastructure, the TAPI pipeline project, cooperation in the Caspian region and natural gas processing. The exhibition opens on 21 October at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan. Malaysia will present its first national pavilion with support from Malaysia Petroleum Resources Corporation (MPRC). Pre-event activities begin on 20 October.
