Mirziyoyev Speaks by Phone With Berdimuhamedov; Greenhouse Eco-Monitoring Planned

Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation on October 12 with Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the national leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahat of Turkmenistan, according to UzA.

On October 13, Mirziyoyev was briefed on a presentation about introducing "green" technologies into greenhouse operations and ensuring that they run in an environmentally safe way.

From October 15 this year to March 15 next year, greenhouses will undergo constant environmental monitoring. It will check the operation of dust and gas cleaning equipment, the volume of emissions released into the air, and compliance with requirements for the types of fuel used.
