Saida Mirziyoyeva: Agreements must be turned into investment and new jobs

Saida Mirziyoyeva, head of the Presidential Administration, said the establishment of the Council opens new opportunities to expand partnership between the two countries. She expressed gratitude to the President of Uzbekistan for the trust placed in her.

Mirziyoyeva also thanked Marco Rubio, his wife Janett, and Sergio Gor for supporting the initiative, for their attention to Uzbekistan, and for their readiness to expand cooperation.

She noted that the main focus should now be on implementing the agreements reached. «The main task before us now is to turn these agreements into concrete practical results, namely investments, modern enterprises and new jobs. Developing cooperation with the United States is also the goal we pursue,» she said.
