Mirzoyan: TRIPP Railway Will Carry Passengers

Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan has said that passenger transport will be carried out on the railway line passing through Armenia as part of the Trump Route (TRIPP), and that trains will have stops. APA reports, citing Sputnik Armenia.

Mirzoyan made the remarks while presenting the issue of ratifying the framework agreement on the TRIPP project at the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations of the Armenian Parliament. He said TRIPP, which is beneficial to both sides, is already having a positive economic impact on strengthening peace.

The minister stated: "If we can transport something from China by rail through the territory of Azerbaijan, what is ironic about that? Yes, Azerbaijan has an interest, and Armenia also has an interest. This is mutually beneficial."
