New defence facilities commissioned in Turkmenistan

Turkmenistan's President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and General of the Army Serdar Berdimuhamedov attended the opening ceremony of a complex of new buildings and facilities for a military unit of the Turkmen Armed Forces on October 21.

The complex includes an administrative building, a parade ground, a canteen, barracks, a medical unit, an open sports ground, an obstacle course for military training, a car park, service, economic and social buildings, and two modern two-storey residential houses with 48 apartments each.

The head of state reviewed the service and living conditions created for servicemen, modern weaponry and unmanned aerial vehicles.
