China's foreign minister: Azerbaijan holds key position on Middle Corridor

China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi stressed that Azerbaijan is a state with an important position on the Middle Corridor. Report.az reported that he made this remark during a meeting with President Ilham Aliyev, held as part of his visit to Azerbaijan.

The guest noted that China consistently supports Azerbaijan's territorial integrity and sovereignty, and he particularly highlighted Azerbaijan's growing role in international and regional affairs.

Wang Yi said the development processes he observed in Baku had made a deep impression on him. He noted the successful and dynamic development of Azerbaijan under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, and said China sincerely rejoices in all of this as Azerbaijan's close friend.
