Osh begins heat supply to schools and hospitals in Kyrgyzstan

According to a 2 November 2026 report by Kabar, heat supply began on 2 November to educational and healthcare institutions and other social facilities in the city of Osh. The mayor's office said heating for residential buildings will be provided in stages starting 4 November.

At a headquarters meeting on preparations for the winter heating season held today, officials reviewed the readiness of municipal enterprises and relevant services. Discussions also covered the uninterrupted supply of electricity, heat and clean water to residents, gasification work, and the condition of transformer substations.

At the end of the meeting, Deputy Mayor Ernis Toltoev instructed responsible services to provide uninterrupted service throughout the winter and to be ready to respond quickly to emergencies.
