The delegation reviewed construction progress, key project stages and plans to establish Kazakhstan as an international hub for computing capacity.
The first data center in Ekibastuz, with a capacity of 50 MW, is planned to come online in the second quarter of 2027. Kazakhstan's Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development, Zhaslan Madiyev, and Bagdat Musin, chairman of the board of Kazakhtelecom, announced this during a visit to the Data Center Valley construction site. The information was reported by Kapital.kz, citing the ministry's press service.
