An annual international conference and exhibition, Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan – 2026 (OGT-2026), is taking place in the country’s capital. The forum is traditionally a key platform for showcasing achievements of the fuel and energy complex, establishing direct business contacts, exchanging global experience and launching new investment projects.
Turkmenistan has supplied more than 477 billion cubic metres of natural gas to China via the Turkmenistan–China pipeline, operating since December 2009, according to data as of 1 October. State Minister and Turkmengaz Chairman Maksat Babayev announced the figures at a plenary session of the OGT 2026 conference in Ashgabat.
