President Shavkat Mirziyoyev is holding open talks with investors in Uzbekistan's fuel and energy sector.

The President said energy is not viewed merely as one branch of the economy, but as a solid foundation for the country's future and its people's well-being. "True partnership is mutual trust, mutual responsibility and mutual benefit," he said. He added that each new project means real change in the regions and a firm basis for people's lives, work and development. The more an investment brings to the country's development, the wider the path it opens to the investor's own success.

The head of state said he was ready to hear investors' well-reasoned proposals, resolve their problems and support their new initiatives. Direct discussions with entrepreneurs followed.
