Khorezm stresses sufficient fuel and energy supplies for autumn-winter season

The regional fuel and energy headquarters in Khorezm held its regular meeting, according to UzA. Participants discussed the implementation of the President of Uzbekistan's decree on additional measures to further raise energy efficiency, save energy resources and use them rationally in 2026. Work carried out in the region and shortcomings identified were critically reviewed, and officials presented their reports.

Regional prosecutor M. Ahmedov said the region should launch electric vehicle charging stations, save electricity and natural gas, and provide practical help to install energy-saving equipment in homes of people with disabilities. He also called for resolving problems in the energy system based on the experience of Yangiyo'l district.

The meeting set tasks to collect debtor arrears, carry out control measures to identify illegal cases, prepare for the autumn-winter season, ensure a stable supply of energy to households and economic sectors, and quickly eliminate identified shortcomings. The implementation of these instructions was placed under control.
