Uzbekistan's population expects inflation over the next 12 months to have fallen to 8.7% in September 2026, down from 9.8% a month earlier, according to the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Business owners' expectations dropped to 9.2% from 9.6% in August.

Uzbekistan plans to raise heating and hot water supply tariffs for residents from 1 November 2026, according to a draft government resolution put up for discussion by the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services. The draft proposes new tariffs for heat supply companies nationwide. After the resolution is adopted, the Interdepartmental Tariff Commission under the Cabinet of Ministers must approve tariffs for legal entities within three days.
