Shavkat Mirziyoyev receives head of ACWA company board

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation led by Muhammad Abunayyan, co-chair of the Uzbekistan-Saudi Business Council and chairman of the board of ACWA, within the first meeting of the investors' council in the fuel and energy sector.

The talks covered expanding practical cooperation and accelerating priority joint projects. Interest from Saudi companies in the Uzbek market has grown in recent years, leading to large investment projects in green energy, modern infrastructure, high technology, healthcare and other fields.

Both sides said they were ready to raise bilateral practical cooperation to a higher level through the timely and quality implementation of agreements reached. At the end of the meeting, the Saudi investors again thanked Uzbekistan for the favourable investment climate created in the country.
