Uzbekistan's president has adopted a decree on additional measures to develop the transport and logistics system, the Ministry of Justice reported. It sets key targets for 2026–2030, including raising the annual capacity of logistics centres to at least 40 million tonnes, lifting service exports to $3.5 billion and transit cargo to 18.5 million tonnes.

The number of international dry ports meeting all requirements will rise from 24 to 30. Khanabad in Andijan region, Alat district in Bukhara region, Termez district in Surkhandarya region, and the Yangiyul and Akhangaran districts in Tashkent region will specialise in transport logistics. Centres will also connect to the E-logistika platform of the Ministry of Transport by the end of 2030.

Until 2040, centres that join the UNESCAP dry ports agreement, implement the required systems and hold at least a 'BB' rating on E-logistika will be fully exempt from land and property tax. Equipment not produced domestically for registered facilities will be exempt from customs duty and mandatory certification until 1 August 2029.
